I seem to remember Gurley getting plenty of touches. 2020 - Akers and Henderson were not afterthoughts, even last year - Michelle carried it quite a bit in some games. But what's the point of running people into a d-line that's in the backfield at the snap.
not since Gurley has he let any of our back really take over a game....maybe he's spooked by what happened to Gurley after all that workload.
The best RB's in the NFL still need at least 10 carries before they even get a feel for the game....Akers is built to be able to carry it 20 times a game and maybe that is why Akers was upset with how he was being used??? I'm guessing that was the "philosophical differences" that McVay alluded to as the problem with Akers
