It's a defining test for McVay

How he rebounds from this much adversity will go a long way on how is career is viewed years from now. I think he will be up for the challenge. He won't walk away when things get tough. He won't retire just to get the money from Amazon!

IMO, he will embrace this adversity and face it head on and...he will overcome it! This is a freak year that only happens once every 50 years or so. It is not indicative of who McVay really is.

Yes, McVay has issues. He's not perfect...but he's as close to perfect as we have ever had at HC! I have faith in McVay to re-stock the talent to a competitive level and will again acquire some assistant coaches to replace the 20 that have been "poached" for the last 5 years!
