appreciating how special that ring we won last season is, and how hard it is to win one. And I'm going to take solace knowing that of all these teams and their fan bases, from the Bills to the Niners and all in between, only one of them gets a happy ending.
Our team was doomed from the start this year, with injuries decimating the one part of the team that couldn't overcome them.
We won't be subjected to anything like the Bucs letting Cooper Kupp ruin their greatest comeback ever, or the Packers and Cowboys blowing home field advantage to the same team in different ways, or the Niners seeing that interception bounce off their safety's chest, or the Bills letting the Chiefs go 40 yards in 13 seconds, or the Titans and Chiefs coughing up furballs against the Bengals. Or the Bengals letting Kupp run East/West then getting a first down on fourth and one.
Our last playoff memory will remain us winning it all. So let's just sit back and focus on player development and watching 13 other fan bases cry themselves to sleep.
