Ramsey and Hill being associated with "ball skills" is very funny. Neither have ball skills. Ramsey's hands are bricks and his awareness of the ball has never been good. His greatness is in engulfing receivers with his size and strength and disrupting catches. Hill at his best can disrupt catches but his hands and ball awareness are suspect.
Best ball skill guy on the secondary roster is Durant and it's not close. But he's been a liability in tackling and has to work on that. Hopefully he has been doing that. And then Kendrick, who is not a liability in tackling and why he's figured prominently for us.
Going forward Kendrick should start playing better ball. He's going to settle in with the kind of snaps he's been getting. The guy has really good instincts. And hopefully they can get Durant out there at some point because his ball awareness might mean an additional turnover in a tight game.
