I would agree with you on this.
Yet, I think there's more to it. Evans appears to be on a completely different page with his unit.
I say this because I 've observed several instances (not just yesterday) where he has flat out turned a D-lineman loose (while standing upright blocking air). It'd be one thing if Vea was putting him on skates (that'd at least show the physical superiority that Vea has over him). But that's not what I'm seeing. It seems clear that he doesn't know his assignment.
