We just didn't expect (well, we sorta did) them to give up a 30 yard play, then allow Buc receivers to work the sidelines all the way down.. then, as its been pointed out, it was clearly a pass and the entire defense bit on a run.. we tackle that dude and the clock runs out..
Yes, everybody saw a pass was coming. Heck, if they run they probably only get one shot at the endzone so a run was highly unlikely given the situation and clock.
If we tackle him the clock likely runs out.
But we could have prevented this scenario very easily if we had not given them the sideline 3 plays in a row.
Tackle them inbound just ONCE on those 3 occasions and the game is over. Horrible coaching.
