I understand Matt's perspective, who is this WR wanting more targets doesn't he see that we are winning, lets go find another #2 wr that might know/accept his role as #2 WR behind my breakfast buddy Cooper. HOWEVER McVay knows that Woods is way more than that to this team so even if that was Matt's first impression, McVay should have pushed back and let him know the history of what Bobby Trees means to this team since McVay got here. Instead he "seemingly" in his feelings about Woods questioning his targets. In a way that everyone on this board says it should be done in private behind closed doors. What did he get for it; traded the following offseason. As many times as he blocked, played stalking horse for Cooper, ran those dang sweeps, you would think McVay would fight to keep him on the team. Losing him made this team less likeable. Now we are picking up players with no sweat equity on the team like Robinson and going after players with no real attachment to the Rams and freely flirt with any team that will flirt back, Von Miller and to lesser extent OBJ. Now this team is a top heavy crew of assassins and We Not Me has become more propaganda than fact and the players know it. If you will do Bobby Trees dirty, then I know what you will do to me. Players rushed back to battle for their brothers, Kupp, Akers and I am sure Woods would have too when the team believed in the we not me, but now since the cutting of Woods Akers goes from experimental surgery to get back in time for the playoffs to losing his love for the game for a bit and being quite happy to be traded. In one off season but it was this offseason. Not a typical we won the ring I need more money thing. That only happened with Von the rest of this is something else.
