Tutu is an easy cherry pick. My point is not that he was a bust, but that he was a boom/bust pick. The previous 4 years, the rams took well rounded WRs that can do a little bit of everything. Tutu was a swing at getting Tyrek Hill.
The Lions took St. Brown who had question marks but he was a top 3 rookie WRs that most gave a comparison to Woods.
Switching to defense, the Lions took MLB Rodriguez in the 6th round. He's had a very good year on a terrible team. He was a top PFF and RAS scorer and leading tackler all american, but his arms are a little short and his height a little short (like AD) for the position. Strength and speed along with instincts above average.
Once again looks like a good long term pick in the later rounds the Rams used to make. The lions 6th round Safety is also starting to get notice as a top rookie. Something the Rams have had for years in later round safeties.
