McVay definitely has some personality quirks we'll call them based on how he handled Goff and others.
To me this looks like a situation where Akers said play me more or else. and McVay said "or else" and sent akers on time out to have a think.
Akers realizes he gets no value sitting at home and is going to play ball for now. If he doesn't play much or the Rams keep losing, then this will likely flare up again.
yeah, the Gurley and Goff situations come to mind...
McVay's running attack isn't working ....It all started when we lost Gurley....McVay has been a running back by committee coach ever since and it SUCKS
letting them split carries does no favors to a RB who needs to get into a rhythm and maybe Cam tried to convey that to McVay and he didn't want to hear it.
btw, Mathew Stafford is the 25th rated QB this year, so Cam isn't the only one looking bad behind this OL this year
