The problem vs 49ers was yards after catch--missed tackles. That's on the players. 2/3 of the passing
yards was YAC....and that cannot happen.
The missed tackles are only a PART of the problem 53. The other very BIG part of the problem that you keep ignoring is that our 8-10 yard cushions ALLOW Jimmie G. to do what he does best.
Getting the ball out fast is his strong suit, correct? Make him hold the ball and go deep and outside the numbers is his kryptonite. It's been the book on how to beat Jimmie G. for his whole career.
Maybe Morris didn't read that book?
Don't you think the 8-10 yard cushions allow him to determine presnap where his best option is and allows him to get it out so fast?
C'mon now. We aren't playing smart enough against them and everyone knows it.
What does Bill Belicheat do best? He takes AWAY what the other team does best. We do the opposite against the whiners!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
