Wow! That’s a world class rant, 53. Feel better?
For the record I’ve been saying this year (note the present tense?) that Morris’ D has been statistically good. His soft zone cushion prevent D (or whatever you choose to call it) has not only been understandable but appropriate while dealing with so many inexperienced secondary players.
For most teams, anyway. Perhaps the 49ers are a team that warrants a different approach? That 8 game losing streak suggests to me that thinking outside the box might be a good idea, at least against this particular team?
I’ve stated that the D is the least of our worries and that the O is the real problem.
I’ve said these things multiple times but I guess you missed them all. Or are ignoring them now because they don’t fit conveniently into your rant?
Anyway, I intend to keep importing other posts from other boards when I consider them either educational, entertaining, or discussion worthy. The overwhelming majority in that recent poll makes this policy decision quite obvious.
Read them or ignore them as you please.
