Just ask youself why you'd be upset about a friendly greeting
and hold Morris "accountable" today when he's got a top 10 defense?
I am upset about his lack of ADJUSTMENTS when the off coverage isn't working. When it happens against the whiners, it's even more frustrating. To keep doing the same thing over and over and over and expect a different result is just crazy.
I don't care how good the "system" is or whether it's the Offensive or Defensive system, it isn't ALWAYS going to work. In this case, it's clearly NOT working against the whiners. Our offensive system ALSO doesn't match up well against certain teams and McVay is also guilty of not adjusting or adjusting too late.
I am not sure what you don't understand 53. I am NOT denying Morris has a top 10 D but that does NOT excuse him from NOT making adjustments when it is clear to everyone but him that something needs to change against "certain" teams or in certain games where it just doesn't seem to be as effective.
As for the "friendly greeting", that was NOT the time or place to be as "friendly" as he was. This was the teams BIGGEST and most HATED rival. Every loss to them is excruciating. To see a coach OR player act so happy like that after a blowout is "upsetting" to most fans. It's like a punch in the gut or a slap in the face.
Go back and watch McVay's expression when shaking Shanny's hand and then compare it to what Morris did and come back and tell me there is no difference. It's just one of those things you don't do at the time.
As for our "bottom 5" Offense, I 100% agree with you. Start another thread about that and I will be glad to discuss it with you.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
