I pretty much agree with your assessment here, Dynasty.

But ‘best option’ is a little more complicated. Some factors Snead must consider:

Can the player be extended so that he can contribute for 3+ years?

How much real impact will this player provide? IOW, how much of a difference maker will he be on our D?

Can Rams afford the costs in picks and cap?

Can Rams find a willing trade partner in time?

Is the proposed player a good fit in the locker room?


Just on the above criterion I think Quinn and Burns were eliminated from the beginning although for different reasons.

Chubb would be my personal pick and I think he would have been right from the jump. He would be pricey but still best value. Fingers crossed.
