Re: 8 takeaways from Rams' first 6 games of the season

A lot of good research, stats and faulty conjecture. I appreciate the effort but not the conclusions. Of course the OL is our biggest problem. Just losing Bruss before the season was huge. He was pushing for a starting spot and would've been a big backup. Then Allen goes out. Losing your starting center changes your whole offense. The center besides snapping and blocking DTs makes all the OL calls. With him out Stafford had to do it. Shelton was a great backup center but he was also our starting RG so when he moved to center it changed all the blocking in the right side of our OL. Havs went from being a Pro Bowl caliber RT to a turnstile. Edwards went down. While not a superstar LG he knew the playbook and generally made the right blocks.
He went down twice. Boom! And that was it. I was SOFi when he went down. Totally unreal.
Jackson has played great. Evans actually was solid last game, but our team is reeling on the OL. Getting Allen back should help. Getting VJ should open things up too. When Shelton comes back that will be a big add.
