Agree about cinching the belt up. And that might be part of their discussions. With an eye on Donald perhaps not being there in 2024 maybe they are saying, "look, we're not parting with the 2023 2nd or 2024 1st." And I'd agree with that.

With the Corbett example, before that trade happened was his name out there? Not that I recall. And the real value of that trade was they added a starting OL for 2.5 years. He wasn't an 8-9 game rental. So anyone they trade for had also better be on the team in 2023.

Sort of depends on how they view Jackson, who has arguably been their best OL. Do they plan to move him to LT? Keep him at LG and maybe trade for a tackle? Who knows.
