Yep. Couple of thoughts. First, Ramsey normally plays the star position. He is not strictly a side CB. Second, I don't understand the idea that there is any increased chance of injury from blitzing than coverage. Is it harder to knock down a QB who is standing still and looking down the field than tackling a full speed RB or a receiver after a catch? I would say the impact would be far lesser on the sack.
It's fine to write an article about how bedsides AD our DL isn't getting pay dirt. That's true. You can add ideas about trades that would improve our rush. Some do. Making up stuff. Not so good. BTW, GG has been playing with a bad shoulder. His snaps are greatly reduced. He was really looking like a Pro Bowl NT last season. And Floyd has been playing hurt. I think that has reduced him as a rusher. Also, we have played carefully against a couple of running QBs. The Bills kid and Kyler and Mariotta. These guys will all take off so you need to stay in your lanes. Garapolla gets rid of the ball too fast to sack him. The Panthers, QB was doing the same. Quick reads with screens.
Add it all up and sacks will be down. Also, much of our secondary has been out so you won't get a coverage sack that way. With our guys coming back that should change. If GG and Floyd get healthy that should help as you get push inside and outside.
