The right piece to add. He has some speed to him, some elusiveness, but he brings power in his style and that has always blended well with McVay's offense even though McVay fails to recognize that. There are quite a few good options out there that you would think the Rams could get at RB. But Hunt really is a nice fit.
As to his history all I can say is people make mistakes. He took his punishments from it and should be wiser for it.
