speaking of the past when teams would have a problem running the ball, play the RAMS go off with big yards only to falter with the run game playing some one else the next week.
A way to look at this past game is not to look at the panthers being so bad we looked good, but to look at the things we did in that game that thus far this season we just haven't done too much. 1-we never really used ARob properly. 2-we never have really used all areas of the field, 1st down pass left, 2nd down pass right, 3rd down jet sweep....things like that, going right, going left, going intermediate crossing route, sweep right, sweep left, screen.....Really all we were doing was run between the tackle, run wide, throw to Cooper....over and over....
We played close to the LOS, ARob on a 2 yard slant, things like that.
What we did vs. panthers was not how we played against the whiners, boys, or bills.....so saying we did what we did because the panthers are bad is not necessarily so cut and dried......what we need to do is utilize all the players and areas of the field against the whiners, make them think and choose, not have them dictating because we looked so limited we were easy to defend.......and really in those games we were still in the game for good portions of the game, calling sh&t plays.....
