All very true. This bye week comes at a very good time for them. And there is a long way to go. If they can get Jefferson going again and plug some leaks in the OL then things could become more interesting. OBJ is the wildcard, of course. I think defensively the only thing holding them back from being a top-5 unit is the lack of edge pass rush. Which of course makes Brian Burns (and maybe some other edge trade targets) very intriguing.
I'm curious to see Williams at RB too but also not holding my breath that a 5th round rookie will be impactful. If he can pass block, catch some passes and play some special teams that's great.
