It was literally "back to the future" for the offense yesterday. Almost anyone (i.e. Kupp, Robinson, Skow, Powell) could find the ball in their hands in the 2nd half and I saw much more player excitement because of it.
Jourdan Rodrigue has written articles on how McVay felt the need to have his offense evolve and how Stafford might be more effective with the empty backfield concepts. And while that might be true in theory, it hasn't turned out that way in practice - especially with a non-functioning O-line.
