How well would he thrive behind our O line?
He gets hurt enough as-is. Much as I like him as a player, I'd be happier with a bigger, more durable back - even a one-trick pile pusher. Third and short, play-action if not a run. That sort of thing. Right now, we don't have an answer - especially on the goal line.
Yup, not sure anyone would thrive behind our OL right now but we DO need a RB.
Great player but always hurt. Can we count on him being healthy come playoff time and not on IR? His price this year is cheap but something like $11 mil next year. Would the Panthers be willing to "eat" some of that?
If so, maybe I think about it.
If not, I look elsewhere for RB and try to upgrade the OL too if possible.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
