Would more turnovers generated by the defense be nice? Sure but it wouldn't even make the top five of my priorities to get the Rams back on top. Like McVay himself noted, more turnovers come from the passing game, unless Akers is your running back. Teams tend not to pass when they have a lead, and teams tend to have a lead when the opposing offense not only cannot score but is also turnover prone. Instead of going in depth on the lack of turnovers, it would be wise to dig deep into how to have a functional offense with a substandard OL.
