I need to take listen to 11 personnel podcast, however I was outside and the radio team had heavy hearts when Powell slipped.
Agree wholeheartedly. The game was fettered away in the opening moments. Simply can't give away 10 points, okay 9 points, to start a match
Rarely balances out.
On offense, the need to check down is lamentable. It's not Matthew's strongest suit. Jared was quite good at it. If you're going to swing it out underneath, then perhaps it's wisest to get the ball out early. Waiting seems to allow the defense to come up and make those stops.
On defense, I'm still unsure of the benefits of Bobby Wagner. Sure he can get gets lined up, but the value of blowing stuff up, making impact plays, and just having to be accounted for are lost to my eyes. Thought he showed some fraying over the last couple of seasons already. Love the man, but the difference maker has yet to show up consistently.
