Getting there, being disruptive, wrecking the timing on one play and eventually getting into the QB's head, forcing an early and errant throw that has a better chance of being intercepted can combine in many ways to be as important - but less spectacular - than a sack.
I remember Grant Wistrom from the GSOT days - not that many sacks, but a collosal nusiance with a high rev motor. He was valuable. Floyd's game does not remind me of Wistrom's; just an example of value aside from sacks.
I saw Floyd around the ball and in the Cowboy backfield quite a bit - looked to me like he was coming back. I can't name names off the top of my head, but I seem to recall he was playing against some good O line players.
Who does he go up against this week? How do you guys think he should do in those matchups? And, can you report back here? I won't be able to watch the game.
