despite the horrific line play this year, there are plays to be made and he's just not making them this year.....
not so mad about the long ball misses although there has been too many this year, its the easy ones he is missing....the 3rd and 3 yesterday when we desperately needed that first down and he misses a wide open underneath throw to Skow or the easy TD to Higs he dirt balled vs the Niners....those are throws an NFL QB, let alone a great QB HAS to make!!!
I hate to see it or even say it, but he's playing like he has battered QB syndrome.....and you can't blame him, cuz he's getting hit way too much, but it's not something you expect from him
McVay needs to help him out as much as the OL by designing better plays to deal with the OL issues... We know he's smart enough to do so, we just haven't seen it yet.
