Matthew Stafford has one touchdown pass, two interceptions and three lost fumbles in his last three games, by far his worst stretch as a member of the Rams. Los Angeles is just 1-2 in those three games, but in Sean McVay’s mind, it’s not the quarterback’s fault.
After Sunday’s 22-10 loss to the Cowboys, the Rams are just 2-3 and look lost on offense. Stafford has been sacked 12 times in his last two games, including five sacks and two lost fumbles against the Cowboys.
Cooper Kupp is the only receiver producing at a consistent clip for Stafford, getting absolutely no help from other players. McVay says Stafford needs more help, suggesting his supporting cast simply isn’t good enough.

He also says the offensive line is “not good enough.”

The Stafford-Kupp connection has remained strong, but Allen Robinson has been a bust, Van Jefferson is injured and Ben Skowronek has turned into more of a fullback. Hopefully Odell Beckham Jr. picks the Rams and is able to contribute relatively soon because this offense desperately needs a spark.
