it's a valid (concerning) trend

Yeah, you can't be bad in the 4th quarter and win games. Period. I would say I'd still like to see a bit larger sample- like let's see where they are in two weeks through 6 games. I think that's when you can really more confidently say where a team is and is not.

Can they pull out two home wins and get to 4-2 at their bye week? They are strongly favored in both games. If they can avoid more injuries they could return in week 8 pretty healthy overall.

Are they simply unlucky so far with having played two top-5 defenses in the first 4 games combined with a slew of OL injuries? That's certainly part of it to date. But is it more? Things might not get easier yet because here comes Dallas and (according to both Football Outsiders and Pro Football Reference) another top defense.

Stafford, for example, has good numbers in the 1st (118.7 QB rating) and 3rd (90.7) quarters. But that 4th quarter number cannot be 58.8. Heck, it can't be below 80.0...

McVay!! Even when the team is firing on all cylinders, he CAN suck at stepping on necks.
