That's a tough argument to make when it was Woods who was right in the middle of the effort to bring on OBJ last season. I'm pretty sure that Woody understands the talent that a healthy and prepared OBJ brings to the table. He (Woods) had to have to known that it'd only be a matter of time before he became WR3. And based upon what I know of him as a player, I think that he was fine with this.
