Cause A Robinson is trash dude

I'm not going to be critical of Allen Robinson because I think he's the same WR that he's been for his career.
The problem is...
He doesn't possess the explosiveness to get in and out of his breaks in the manner that neither McVay or Stafford likes for this offense (which doesn't appear as though will be modified FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER).
But again, that's not Robinson's fault.
So the question is...why is he here? What was the pressing need to give him a bag of money, while at the same time dispatching a team captain who COULD get in and out of those breaks? Who was one of your best offensive blockers and runners?
Robert Woods helped to implement this offense from its inception here in LA. He KNEW when it was operating on all cylinders...and when it wasn't. Have to seriously wonder if he was unceremoniously dispatched simply because he went to the coach with some good questions - questions McVay did not want to hear or confront.
Cooper Kupp had 19 targets come his way against the 9'ers tonight. Robinson has had 18 targets come his way THE WHOLE SEASON.
Something's not right.
