It really doesn't matter much. We've had depleted Niners teams before that thoroughly outplayed the Rams. Heck, two years ago they lost to the winless Jets late in the season.

The Rams have operated at about 75% of their potential in my mind. If that number significantly increases, I don't care who they play. But at this level, that can absolutely lose to any team that doesn't beat themselves
