Unfortunate? The bone-n-bone lacks any color impact at all, and the bone, probably chosen because it doesn't produce TV screen glare (only reason I can think of) lacks the dynamic presence of all-white that I remewmber from the Roman Gabriel era.
And this writer says... it's unfortunate that we're not going to wear them? Maybe just me but as I've posted previously (and if I'm wrong let me have it) The bone-bone combo looks like a little kid's sleepover pajama set.
But I'd settle for bone, oatmeal, putty, or poo if they'd bring the horn back.
The writer is saying it's unfortunate NOT because of aesthetics... I think most people would agree the bone is putrid. I think he's saying it's unfortunate because, compared to other uniform combinations, the Rams' winning percentage has been the best when they wear bone: either the jersey, the pants, or both. I posted a graph last week showing this.
