Even in the days of SIX preseason games and starters playing almost multiple games..

You'd STILL see screw ups from first REAL game excitement....a QB firing a ball too hard over a WRs head....little stuff....that often cleared up by the first half. THESE DAYS?? We see darn good teams look like absolute garbage across the board for entire games or more. It REALLY showed with the Rams! They were not mentally awake at all. And they carried over to the Physical aspect.
