I don't recall when... maybe it's just me, but looking back, I don't recall Brady not having good receivers. They occupied different positions, not all were wideouts, but he had people to throw to and OC game planners who could coach to the skills of the players. Like every good QB, then, Brady brought out of their potential. The spotlight, though, is on Brady.
Some fans ask: who did Dan Marino have? He did it without good receivers. Same argument. Marino got a lot of spotlight time; the Marks brothers, Clayton and Dupree, were pretty good.
