If McCutcheon got in for seven plays, got one pass thrown to him and didn't catch it would you want to cut him? Two preseasons ago Tutu caught all the passes thrown his way. None were spectacular as he was running those vanilla fake game plays. He didn't see a regular season pass. This past PS McCutcheon played great in PS but wasn't active for the first game.
Tutu was the best WR in the ACC for a major program in Louisville. McCutcheon played no where and wasn't drafted at all, and yet, many here think Tutu is a total bust and McCutcheon is gonna be a star. Before they were both Rams all the minds in the college football world thought more of Tutu and he produced better than McCutcheon. When all the NFL masterminds picked their guys Tutu was picked in the 50's and McCutcheon wasn't picked at all. And Thursday when both guys were ready to go Tutu played and McCutcheon didn't. But, everyone here is so much smarter.
The funny thing is I mostly agree with you. Tutu is super tiny. I really like McCutcheon. I want us to win and would play whoever helps us the most. I just don't see the logic. That's all. Biggest problem for Tutu isn't the drop, nor his size, nor his draft status, nor this board's doubt, but, if we can't pass block Tutu won't be able to catch a deep pass because it will never get thrown.
