But Tutu has been a disappointment.
All those "fluff articles" about Tutu in camp and practice and he gets only ONE pass his first game?!?!?! No jet sweeps. No Deep shots. No plays were designed to even TRY to get him involved.
It sure looked to me like Tutu wasn't even in McVay's game plan at all. Why? Don't you want to get your "weapons" the ball? It wasn't like anyone else was lighting it up against the Bills.
I know McVay knows how to do it. When Bobby Trees wanted the ball more last year, the very next game the plan was to get the ball in Woods' hands and they did.
We got Tavon the ball in so many different ways it wasn't funny but Tutu gets only ONE play in his DEBUT after such a "glorious" practice performance???
I think I have to blame McVay a little for not even trying to get Tutu involved. I think Tutu's drop didn't help him but why would you just "give up" on trying to get him the ball again?
I have to think McVay will try and get Tutu more involved next week but he will be on a short leash again.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
