At least that is what I was hoping someone would post. I am going to the Dec. 8th game against the Raiders... alone... I don't really want to sit on the Away side.

I've checked all of the normal channels... tick pick, ticket master, vivid seats... etc. etc. etc. and they are relatively the same. You might save $15 or $20 somewhere. I guess that matters more if you are buying multiple tickets.

I used to read posts where people said just buy the tickets from a scalper at the stadium. I kind of doubt that is the case now. Are tickets cheaper closer to the event? Would someone sell one ticket at the last moment?

Right now for good nosebleed seats, (Seats I have been told on this board to avoid) I am looking at $400. There are some that are $250 - $300 but they are at the end zone and it appears that it would even be tough to get a good view of the Jumbotron. But when you are that high up can you even see the field? Does it make a difference if I am on the 50 yard line or the end zone? From the photos I would need a telescope to see the teams. Otherwise it would be like watching an Electric Football Game (those old vibrating field things) from 20 feet away. I save $150 and the view sucks either way. But I don't know because I always pay extra for good seats. But for good seats that I am used to (20 - 30 yard line about 3 sections up) we are talking $800 minimum for one seat and some are over $1000.

To compromise, I am looking at the 400 level about the 30 yard line for $550... Is that just justifiable? I can get bad seats for $500+ or really bad seats for $300 less. Does it even matter when you are that high up?
