I hate this patriarchal news reporting style. It needs to go away. Same sort of thing when stories about a certain QB recently and massages, must be gold diggers etc....
Funnily enough I just learned the etymology of hysterical the other day...... 'having a womb'

Words evolve to have new meanings, but journalism like this is just crass, cheap and disappointing still for our society.
