But the point that Perkins lacks good QB skills still stands. Good QB’s can read D’s, find open man quickly, and throw to him accurately, etc.
Being a good scrambler is WAY down my list of QB attributes.
Do you think Perkins can get better at QB skills with more time in the system? If Perkins had as much time in McVay's system as the Wolf, who would be better?
Keep in mind that that the Wolf was also lacking these "skills" his first 2 years with us and now they say he's better at reading the D and also has a stringer arm this year?
I think all the things you mention: "can read D’s, find open man quickly, and throw to him accurately, etc" get better with experience and the Wolf is a good example.
BTW, isn't it great that this conversation isn't about our STARTING QB? It wasn't too long ago that it would have been the main topic on the board!
Those were some dark times but McVay has been our "flashlight" to lead us out of the darkness and into the light!
We are truly Blessed as Rams fans, aren't we!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
