The Lions are where the Rams used to be so often before McVay arrived.
Frequent loser, just trying to get it turned around. Trying to win preseason games to get the feel of winning. A lot of hopeful and magical thinking going on.
We all suffered through many preseasons like that....and at the same time, I do agree that the Lions should be much improved this year.
It's a different world for the McVay Rams. They're good, they know they're good. They're in the playoffs every year. Preseason is to get the work in to get ready for the season with as few as injuries as possible. They don't care about results of preseason games. They don't need to build up their confidence, they've been in, and won a lot of big games over the last 5 years, including the last Super Bowl. They're the $hit. The whole organization has been hitting on all cylinders.
It won't last forever, but it's such a joy to be living through it after so many years of misery.
