Mcvay's presser said they wanted to give all the players they cut time to find a new team, but they (including K
were cut Friday/Sat, ahead of Tuesday's deadline. Why not try to get a 7th rounder?

I think that Sean just values giving the players he cuts a chance to choose over getting more picks - just like trading Woody for the 6th to the team he wanted to go to instead of getting a better pick. But our 7th rounders this year were Hardy, Yeast and Arcuri, who all have a shot to make the team so my preference would be to get something for a player who started in the NFC championship and Super Bowl.
From a player perspective, Hopkins beat him out and Harris had that pancake block that probably had an impact. The good news is that KB didn't make the 2nd round of cuts, let alone the final 53. So he got outperformed.
