I saw a practice with all the players sprinting last year. Yes, Atwell is the fastest. It's not close. Harris is the second fastest.
Could his "game speed" (not practice or camp speed) be slower in the NFL? Because he didn't look much faster than the scrub DB's he played against last preseason. What happened to all that speed in the games? He wasn't blowing by anyone.
IMO, he didn't even really "stand out" all last preseason playing all those snaps against players that didn't even make their teams. No TD's. No Big plays. Nothing at all. No "WOW moments". No "eye catching" plays even though they were "forcing" the ball to him, giving him tons of chances to "flash"...but we got nothing.
Fast forward to this preseason and we see a rookie WR who DID "flash". He "flashed" EVERY time he touched the ball. Scored multiple TD's and a 2 pt conversion against the same level players Tutu did. And...he did all this in only 2 games. That's more than Tutu had in BOTH preseason AND regular season last year.
McCutcheon has out played the higher drafted Tutu so far...and it's not close.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
