This is not Rams, but it impacts the league in which they play.
This is not a good look and will damage the brand to a degree, but society still glosses over and seems to move on from this stuff quickly.
The NFL itself found four cases of proven sexual misconduct. Haven't players been banned for a year/indefinitely for physical abuse cases etc.
For someone earning a guaranteed $230m does $5m sound much.
DeSean is still protesting his innocence, he is acting like he is the victim here.
Yes the NFLPA wants to protect their player, my union protects me as a teacher...... but not if I've been been found to have sexual assaulted people!!!! I would lose my job, and personally rightly so.
As a husband, father of daughters and just as a member of the community I find this Sega really sickening. The fact he's a good football player should really not protect him as a member of society from his behaviour. Because this punishment is so weak it seems to me to basically undermine the values we put against half the humans in our community..
I am happy that this is not our team and from everything we hear about the Rams(Jourdans recent articles) seem to show a more modern outlook.
