I wonder how Perkins would play if he had to play with the 1st string wide receivers and o-line? What makes you think he isn't better than Wolford who looked awful when he played in that one game in garbage time?
Is there really that much difference between The Wolf and Perkins? They both have limited arm strength and both tend to run when things break down.
The Wolf has the edge in experience and Perkins has the edge in athleticism.
The truth is if we have to play either QB during the season, we most likely lose. So how much of an edge is experience anyway?
Gimme the kid with the higher ceiling every time. That would be Perkins.
As you said, (and I 100% agree) the Wolf " looked awful when he played in that one game in garbage time". I will add that I don't think he looked much better than in all of his other starts.
The Dude has 69 minutes of NFL experience and only looked good in 68 of them. Our vaunted D won that AZ game...not the Wolf.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
