Last year in training camp and the preseason games, McVay said That Atwell needed to show more urgency.
Atwell's lack of showing urgency was him thinking on the field rather than playing, because it obviously took him
more time to learn NFL plays, with play names that indicate the play, the formation, the motion, the blocking scheme,
and the snap count. This year, a year later, Atwell is playing instead of thinking on the field.
Atwell now knows the playbook and can let his physical talents of speed, ball tracking, soft hands, and going for
50/50 balls be on display during training camp.
I doubt he will have many 50-yard pass plays in the pre-season games since NFL teams usually run pretty vanilla plays,
but Atwell may have some 30-yard plays during the 3 pre-season games.
