i have no idea what the coaching staff has seen from lake and yeast so far but based on the camp reports available, i agree. and would go on to say that they have yet to show that they are anywhere near what rapp does provide.
given the fact that snead and mcvay had to convince eric weddle to swap his pipe, smoking jacket and slippers for a uniform and helmet after almost 2 years away from the game to complete the sb run given a depleted safety corps, i think they'll be careful with the group.
rapp stays, fuller stays, burgess stays, scott stays and they try to smuggle lake and yeast (6th & 7th rd picks) on to the practice squad is my humble guess.
and they will scour the wire, the trade options for safety options as the season progresses.
