Well, I think that this explains why Stafford was coming up short on several of his deeper throws last year.

It'd be one thing if Stafford, as an older player, was simply losing a couple MPH off of his fastball. But experiencing pain after the first week of training camp doesn't sound good.

How long/much was that extension he got during the off-season again?
