I understand about current contracts. But I think the Niners expanded his role without changing his contract. For a WR to now carry a RB role as well is going to shorten his playing career. Deebo carried the Niners on his back down the stretch and thru the playoffs. Without him, the Niners never get as far as they did. I don't fault Deebo at all.
