Big bad Packers at home. Lambeau Field in the winter. No way the Rams can beat them. I think it's a bunch of hooey personally.
First off that game the Rams defense got run on. If you let Rodgers have a run game he is going to destroy you. Do you think the Packers are going to run on the Rams now? I don't.
Secondly that game we had Goff at QB. That alone makes this equation work in a completely different direction.
Lastly Green Bay losing Adams was a huge loss to their pass game design. They're going to be a lot easier to stop this year. Maybe next year that fine rook they selected makes them forget Adams, but for this season you're gonna see a dip. It's like the Rams pass rush in losing Von. There is no way there won't be dropoff given how good he was.
So maybe I'm crazy but I don't fear those clowns at all. I should be worried about the defense being able to pressure Rodgers but I think what the Rams did to boost the secondary this offseason is going to change the nature of the defense. We won't be a top pressure front, but we'll be good in pressures and better in coverage. Also we should be stuffing the run really well with most of the front returning plus Wagner added.
Bring the Packers on. I think the Rams will handle them just fine.
