I liked the signing of Garcia as he reminded me a little of Sebastian Joseph-Day never giving up regardless of the score. Rice is a tough program, it focus more on the student then the athlete similar to Stanford & Notre Dame for example, but obviously on a lower level. Elijah Garcia battles and not only made plays for the Owls, but was disruptive as well. Also being that he played for Rice Garcia offers quite a bit from the neck up like Hoecht who attended Brown University.
