quinn had a nice year last season. missing only 1 game.
problem with quinn is :
1. his 2022 base salary is 12.8M and the rams only have 9.6M in available cap. if the rams are going to make that trade happen the bears will have to cover a chunk of his base salary ala the von miller trade ~ but ~ that will cost a higher than straight up trade draft pick compensation. could it happen? yes. but ~
2. when we had quinn and tried converting him from a 4-3 de to a 3-4 old/edge weren't the results mediocre ? his natural position seems to be a 4-3 de.
while we're at it: as opposed to spending the entire remaining cap on quinn and sending a draft pick or 2 or 3 to the bears, what if we could get carl nassib for backing up a donald and a robinson on the d line for like $3M or less and leave over 6M of cap space to get obj back? thoughts?
